In April I took pictures of the Paris skyline descending from SC (on the right, going down) and the ET is in the distance.

Pinch me! While getting ready for our evening out tonight, our last in Paris we heard the sounds of Frank Sinatra, Ramsey Lewis and others wafting from below our flung open windows. I looked to the corner and there was a trio of brass playing troubadours so we rushed down and listened for a bit. Only in Paris!

I'm almost positive I have a nice, foggy pix of ET from SC. Or at least, walking to the right of it. Will see if I can find it.

MarySteveChicago, 6 weeks on the nordic trak with language tapes is a good workout for the legs! FYI.

You are so right, the merchants want exact change or at least no large bills! We couldn't find any way to avoid large bills from the ATM.

And I did find hair accessories in Bon Marche for the grandaughters. Thank you!

I'll post more about the rest of our week including our dinner at Josephine Chez duMonet as soon as I get things unpacked.

But we Parisians are still waiting for some rain. Are you?
