French Riviera hotel

My husband and I will be on the French Riviera on 4/27-28/02 and need a recommendation for a moderately priced hotel, b&b, etc.

In Nice, try either the Hotel Flots d'Azue or the Hotel Eden. They're right next door to each other on Promenade des Anglais.

Bon Voyage,
BC

Thanks for such a quick response! But I could use some more help...do either of the hotels you recommended have web sites? I've tried to find them on Fodors and Frommers.com as well as in several guide books. Any more info you can provide me? Thanks in advance

Hi Patti
You did not mention where on the Riviera you would be or if you have a car. Since some hotels on the Riviera can be $250 + a night does moderate mean $75 - $100? What are you looking for - waterfront, hillside, central city? We stayed in Villefranche sur Mer about 5 minutes east of Nice at a place called the La Flore. It overlooks the harbor and about 20 minutes to Monaco. Since the hotel is right on the highway, the bus stops next door to take you either way. Very nice people, great views. We had 2 bedrooms with one bath for 4 adults that ran about $150 in 1999. Good luck, have fun.
