French Riviera

I was planning a trip to the Fench Riviera at the end of February/beginning of March 2008. What are the temperatures (in Farenheit) typically around this time of the year? Has anybody experienced the French Riviera at around this time? Was it enjoyable?

laartista is right with the temperatures.

It should be springtime, with bright clear skies, but there may be chilly winds. Good weather for sightseeing but way too cold for beaches.

Also, what I liked about being there then is we got a great price on an awesome hotel and there were really no crowds. At both Eze and the Rothchild estate and come to think of it St Paul D'Vence we practically had it to ourselves. I had a trip report that also included Provence I'll try to find the link.
