Frankfurt Card

I'm planning to get the Frankfurt Card.

According to the website
http://tinyurl.com/pbqsj

it includes
< free travel on all RMV public transport lines in the city area incl. Frankfurt Airport >

Does that include a ride on the RB from Frankfurt Hauptbanhof to Frankfurt Airport? Or do I have to stick with the S-Bahn train?

Didn't your question contain the answer?

> free travel on all RMV public transport lines in the city area incl. Frankfurt Airport

Also, from http://www.airfaresflights.com.au/Weather/Frankfurt

The Frankfurt Card (available from the tourist office) is good value allowing for unlimited travel within greater Frankfurt, plus airport shuttle transport and half price admission to museums.

"All RMV public transport" includes all DB local trains, i.e. RB, RE, IRE and S-Bahn.

Thanks for your replies.

The reason I wasn't sure was about taking the RB - RegionalBahn - which is operated by DB instead of the local RMV.

RMV is a cooperation of DB and several local and regional public transport carriers that covers the whole area from Marburg to Darmstadt and from Mainz to Fulda, about two thirds of Hessen. RMV tickets can be used on all means of public transport operated by any of the participants (DB, as stated, on local trains only, not on ICE/EC/IC).

yk - We were there in Feb and bought the card at the Tourist office in the FRA HauptBahnhof. You purchase them for X days but it is on a day clock rather than a 24 hour clock.

Since the trip to the airport was early, (5AM) we bought an extra day. We traveled all over the city on the tram and it was well worth it never mind the entrance to the museums.
