France - Taxis and Day Trips

France - Taxis and Day Trips
We are traveling from Strausberg, France to Paris by train. What is the going rate for a taxi to the Latin Quarter from the train station? 3 people - 2 bags each. And, is it feasible to try and do a trip to the Loire Valley from Paris? We also want to do a day trip to Versaille. Thanks!

My daughter and I did a trip from Gare Montparnasse to Chateau Chenonceau via the station that handles TGV train for Tours.
I have to say... your question isn't well scripted, and the 2 BAGS EACH is only asking for problems.
My dayughter did a quick trip to Versaille in a morning.

When you say 2 bags each do you mean one rollie bag and one shoulder bag? Or do you mean 2 suitcases?
If the former you should be OK. If the latter don;t know how you will manage on the train (getting bags up and down stairs, onto ovehead racks etc) and definitely a Parisian taxi won;t hold 6 suitcases. (Also don;t know cab rate- since there are like 6 train stations in Paris - you need to find out which one you'll arrive at.)
You can easily do a trip to Versailles - it's only like 30 minutes from the center of Paris by train.
You can take a day trip to the Loire - but it won;t be enough time to see much. Probably best would be train to Tours and a day tour from there to 2 chateaux (don't know the details - we did 6 days by car).
