France - end of February and early March

We have a flight booked to Paris thrid week of February returning March 3. We also have a car rental booked at CDG and have no problem driving after a long flight from San Francisco. Have done it many times all over Europe.

We are travelling for food and wine. We have done trips before in winter to Dordogne region and Burgundy. Unfortunately did not get to taste truffles as it was still early in the season.

We were looking at La Rochelle RESTAURANT CHRISTOPHER COUTANCEAU for lunch.
We had a great lunch at Maison Lameloise two years ago and of course the awesome Bresse chicken.
I know this is all over the place.

Looking for advice esp any seasonal foods that are only available in winter.

Seasonal foods are Brussels sprouts, turnips, Belgian endive and all of the various cabbages, all of which are mostly eaten at home.

You may not think you have a problem driving - but you do have. Microsleep is a fact and can be fatal. For your sake and the sake of others using the roads, in what could be dangerous or difficult conditions please do not drive any distance on arrival. Use your arrival day to relax and recover from a long overnight flight.
You will probably find more game on menus now.
You must have some idea of where you would like to visit, and I assume since this coming week is the third week of February you have found yourselves somewhere to stay also.

Absolutely agree. Its just renting a car and staying close to Paris.

Thanks for the suggestion about game on the menus
