France anti USA stance? Trip Plans changed?

Are many readers planning to change plans to visit France due to the French position on the War?

No, I'm not changing plans because of the French position-- I'm unfortunately changing my plans because of the state of the economy. As a self-employed person, I've seen my business drop off tremendously, and have come to the decision that now is not the time to be spending money on a much looked forward to trip to France. I hope things pick up soon, but I'm not seeing the change happening soon enough for now.

I will be in Paris on May 1, 2003 and am looking forward to it very much! I'd be doing myself AND the country of France a great disservice if I changed my plans simply based on political views.
