Thanks for the link! I used option 2 and claimed (rightfully) 179 days of all vacation travel. There's no way I could dig through piles of receipts for option 3.
Now I just have to wait for the settlement process to be complete. From what I read this could take some time!

I had a lot of time in Europe during this period and used my MBNA card plenty. MBNA was taken over by BoA. I never received any notice. Could this have fallen through the crack because of the takeover?

As artstuff points out with the listing of the forms, you should get a minimum of $25 cash if you qualify.
I got confused by some of the early posts in this thread. It seemed as if two mailings were being discussed, and one talked about an email. I provided no bank account or SSN at the ccf website.

I put in my measly 73 days of travel. From their calculations, it looks like they are estimating one week of travel to be about $2500 of expenses, which they expect to reimburse 1% = $25. For my 73 days, which equals 10.5 weeks, I am likely looking at around $260. Worth a couple seconds of my time, at any rate.

I just got a federal court notice today. It already has the amount of my previous claim, and I'm reading the whole thing a little differently from some others. According to this, I can let my claim stand (I don't have to do anything else) and should get "between 1% and 3% of the total amount" I already filed. Or I can switch to the $25 flat option (I'd be crazy to do that) OR I can go for that 1% of estimated expenses.
So, now it seems to be saying I could expect between $1440 and $4320. Merry Christmas (2012, probably).

Can someone who has received the "official" notice from the court please confirm that the mailing address for sending the claim formsis:
Settlement Administrator
P.O. Box 290
Philadelphia, PA 19105
We haven't received any notice (maybe the mail is too messed up here in the Northwest). I am not comfortable submitting the form on-line so would like to confirm that is the mailing address.
Thanks!

NeoP, note the fine print: "if the volume of claims is unexpectedly high, it may be necessary to adjust refund amounts."
I'm not counting on the full 1- 3%, but I'm still sticking with the Option 3. Our daughter studied in Italy a full semester during this time, so those expenses are pretty high. We hope we get something from this settlement.
P.S. The Philadelphia zip code is 19105-0290
