I also saw the article on hotel sheets! Would you carry an ultra-violet light to check for bodily fluids on the sheets before getting comfy?
If they re-ironed the dirty sheets that would kill most germs anyway.
I don't like the idea of sleeping on other peoples used linen but what you don't know you can't worry about.

ira, I make it a practice to always request a fluid-free room. My wife says I do way more than my share in combating body fluid dispersal in hotel rooms.
