Fom Verona to Innsbruck by car in winter?
I am afraid of driving from Verona to Innsbruck in Jnauary, 15. Is it dangerous? Is it possible?
I would really appreciate who could give information about it.

What are you afraid of? Snow? Ice? Traffic?
It is a major highway, in fact, it is THE highway connecting Italy with much of Austria and Germany. It will be kept open if humanly possible.
The Brenner Pass is probably the most mountainous part, but the highway to me was modern and, although crowded, was negotiable.
I am curious to read other opinions to see if they are similar to mine.

You have no reason for concern, other than exercising due caution if there is some precipation (sleet or snow) on the way up from Verona.
As the previous poster mentioned, this is the main truck route from Innsbruck down into Italy, and it is well-cared for.
You have more to worry about speeding tractor trailers, than from a snow or ice hazard.
The one area you need to be a bit more careful is going over the bridge through the Brenner Pass. It is the highest autoroute bridge in Europe, and would have a tendency to freeze faster than a landbound roadway.
We have covered this route during the winter and did not experience any problems.
