Fodor's What's Your Problem?

I just returned from Paris, France on Monday. I posted a very nice small paragraph about how I loved Paris, and if anybody had questions I would try to answer them. I now found my post has been removed. Did someone write something that offended your sensitivities? This is getting insane. Who else feels they are going off half cocked? I will try later today to post the same thread if any body has questions.

Greg, your post is still around. It has fallen off the top 50 posts though. Let's not get paranoid!

I think we're ALL a little jumpy these days I hope you will post more details about your trip -- I had to cancel mine earlier this month so I'm living vicariously....

S. Fowler,

I had previously used your recommendation to bookmark messages, and I was so pleased with it. But now, when I try to go back to the bookmark (I use Netscape), it doesn't take me to the specific message but just back to the Europe forum. Are bookmarks still working for you? If so, maybe it's a browser issue -- which browser are you using?

I, too, have not been able to bookmark messages and have them come back up....just the European forum, as mentioned above.

Do you have any tips?

Hm... just tested on IE and Netscape with bookmarks I had made earlier and worked fine.
Be sure to CLICK the mouse on the message [right] side of the screen before you right click to make the bookmark. If you don't click on the right you are saving a bookmark to the forum in general I think.
And if you have been doing what I described and it's suddenly gone looney on you -- not a clue. .

Ditto with the bookmarking problem. Any tips on how to do this? Using Netscape.

Let me try again [I need another cup of coffee I think]

These are PC instructions -- if you are a Macintosh user someone else needs to help you.

On a PC -- left click your mouse in the message are.. that it.. the area where you are reading this The right click the mouse and either save as favorite [IE] to save as bookmark [Netscape]. If that isn't working... not a clue

Just to add to Shrimp's comments, depending upon what version of IE you are using, when you right click, it might say "Create Shortcut" instead of "Bookmark".

Oops ... "Create Shortcut" will add a bookmark to your desktop. "Add to Favorites" will add a bookmark. You might also want to create folders for your bookmarks too.

My apologies to Shrimp, didn't read her comments clearly enough the first time.
