We're staying at the Hotel Verbano on Iseo dei Pescadores (SP?). It's not cheap (250,000L double), but we thought the location would be worth it.

Dayle,

We considered the Verbano(because of the listing in KAren Brown's Guide)...I'll be curious to know how you liked it.

We will be staying at the La Palma in Stresa when you are in Margherita Ligure.

All day! I've been to Venice once before, so this time I would like to see some villas, museums, and Murano and Burano. Write back if you would like to get together....
Hi Dayle,

I like your itinerary. I get into Milan exactly a week before you so I think I will be in your cities a few days earlier than you get there. I don't quite have an itinerary though I do plan to hit certain spots along the way. One of them is Orvieto. Though chances may be slim in terms of timing, tell me where you'll be staying anyways. If I'm there around the 20th, I'll visit you guys.

-Shahram

This will be my first time to Venice. I am tied up in the morning with an orientation tour. Possibly we could meet after that. Either lunch, drinks or dinner.

It's actually a tour provided as the conclusion of an ExperiencePlus! walking tour that I will be taking through the Tuscany area.

How about if I make dinner reservations for Da Ivo restaurant (recommended by others here) the night of the 30th. Everyone who's interested let me know to count you in! We're at the Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini in Orvieto. My understanding is it's not a very big place, so it should be easy to meet. While in Orvieto, we're planning on seeing the town, Cita di Bagnoreggio and perhaps Todi. All are welcome to join...

I'll have a navy blue cardigan sweater on and I'll probably be the only woman alone! Anybody else, join in! I'll confirm with you Rhonda, before I leave for Italy on May 11.

Sounds like a plan. Feel free to send me an e-mail to confirm. I will be wearing a black cardigan and will be the only other woman alone.

I will be staying at the Pensione Wildner. About a five minute walk from Piazza San Marco.
