As I've mentioned in other threads, I will be traveling around Italy (and Switzerland) in October. I'll be in Como and Bolzano (and maybe Bologne) in the beginning of the month, Umbria & Tuscany around mid-month and Rome from the 20th until the 27th or 28th.

I will be traveling alone. This is not a problem, as I'm a pretty independent person. However, it occurs to me that it might be nice to meet up with some folks on occasion. Of course, I hope to meet fellow travelers at hotels, convents and B&B farmhouses. But if there are any Fodorites who will be in Italy during my stay, I'd love to make plans to get together for a meal or a glass of wine.

I'm 33, living in New England, single and male. But I'm open to meeting folks of all ages, backgrounds, etc.

I will be in Italy in October but at the beginning. I asked this question a while ago, "Anyone going to Italy in October" and if you look it up you'll see there are many.

I'll actually be in Switzerland until the 6th. That's when I head to Como for the Italy portion of my trip. If you think you'll be in Northern Italy around that time though, let me know.

I will be in Rome from the 24th til the 1st. So I am up for a GTG. I have met up with other Fodorites in both Florence and Rome and had a blast.

I usually fly Rome everyweek till late fall so would be interested in meeting up in Rome for a GTG. I don't get my schedule till the end of September so will let you know then.

We arrive in Rome on Oct.18 for one week,staying in an apartment close to the Pantheon. A GTG sounds like fun
