No, you'd need to take a taxi.

I rode in a four-berth couchette both ways when I took the night train to Paris. You can request a single-sex couchette. I was in a couchette with a mother and her children on the way to Paris, and with two French (female) students and a hunky Italian guy on the way back. The students tried all evening to get his attention, but he was not paying any intention. I had no problems in either direction. On the way back home, I knew to bring food and beverages on the train.

"Also I'm not finding any trains from Firenza SM Novella to Pisa Centrale that gets in earlier than 5:52 am? If we do the Ryanair flight at 620am I don't think that will give us enough time?"

There is bus service between the Florence S.M. Novella train station and the Pisa Airport. There is a 3:30a bus that arrives at the airport at 4:40a. Fare is 12 euros one way.

But if I had a flight departing that early, I'd stay at/near the airport. I admit I'm a worrywart.

FYI, the last train the night before leaves the Florence SMN station at 9:57p and arrives at the Pisa Centrale train station at 11:19p and at the airport at 11:38p. The majority of lodging options are probably closer to the Centrale station.

If I was looking at a flight that early I'd do something else, lol. In this case, probably take the night train, I'd expect to get more sleep.

can folks sleep at airports themselves anymore? Years ago I often did...when young...but with security measures is that possible anymore?

In general?
