Hi,

I was in Florence a few years ago, on a Monday and all the art galeries were closed. the churches were open and there is a lot of art in the churches.

Hi Marie,
There is plenty to do on a Monday. One thing that might help you....I stayed at a hotel in Florence called the Pendini. They have a website, and one of the links on it is "Florence Info" or something along those lines. They actually have a list under that called "What's open on Monday." (Or words to that effect. So just visit their website and check it out.
Have fun!
