Florence on a monday?
 

I have been reading responses to the last posting and would like to find out a litttle more info. as far as Florence goes. I will be in Florence mon.-wed.(half day)are alot of the museums closed? This will be my first trip to Europe and have no idea what to expect so any info. would be greatly appreciated...Also we will be in Venice from wed.-fri. and Rome sat-mon. are these good days to be in these towns??

Hi, <BR> <BR>I was in Florence a few years ago, on a Monday and all the art galeries were closed. the churches were open and there is a lot of art in the churches.

Hi Marie, <BR>There is plenty to do on a Monday. One thing that might help you....I stayed at a hotel in Florence called the Pendini. They have a website, and one of the links on it is "Florence Info" or something along those lines. They actually have a list under that called "What's open on Monday." (Or words to that effect. So just visit their website and check it out. <BR>Have fun!
