After a week in central Tuscany, we wil be dropping our rental car back at the airport in Florence.

Then we will be taking a train from Florence to Venice.

Any suggestions on how best to transfer from car rental return at the airport to the train station??

I did a quick check and it didn't appear that I could return the car to the train station.

We did that transfer exactly a year ago via an airport bus which gets you to a stop across the street from the central train station.

Hi Dick,

I'm told that cab fare from the airport to the train station is 10 - 15E.

Ira is correct about the cabfare. It's a fairly short ride.

I'll see if the car rental company can get a cab to pick us up at the rental lot...or sholw we just go back to the terminal to grab a cab?
