Planning trip to Cinque Terre, Venice and Florence in early Oct. Any suggestions which order to visit each place. Planning on a 11 day trip. Not renting a car.

Fly into Venice and fly home from Pisa.
I would do 4-3-3 with the last nite in Pisa.

a fabulous simple B&B literally in the middle of florence is the Dei Mori B&B (hotel)....you could not ask for a better place....and they will send you to the best restaurants in florence....they are the perfect hosts....google it...

we stayed just at the nothern end of CT in the town of Levanto...it is easy to get to and the CT boat comes there as does the train and there are lots of options for eating and being in a "real town"

in venice we stayed this last time at Palazzetto da Schio.....it is a "serviced apartment" in the dursoduro area very close to the peggy guggeheim museum---a fabulous location...we loved our stay there...the countess is a lovely woman and gives great info....the apartments are very comfortable (old fashioned) and very very well equipted....

I did not go to Levanto, but I think part of the fun of Cinque Terre is actually staying there.
