Florence at Christmas

Hi, Our family of 5 will be in Florence over Christmas. I'm concerned we will have little we can do with CHristmas Eve, Day and St. Stephen's Day on Monday, Dec 26. Has anyone spent CHristmas in Florence and have any recommendations on how to spend our time? Kids are 19, 17 and 14. Open to taking Day trips to nearby towns if appropriate. We will be in Florence from 23-29, between time in Rome and Venice. Thank u!

Some ideas from last year which may be repeated:

This year:

Pisa's Leaning Tower is open every day. Timed tickets required.
