Hey there, I need to get 9 people from Amerigo Vespucci airport in Florence to town. What do you know about the shuttle bus/ how do we catch it, do we need reservations, whats the cost? Or can we take the train? Thanks

Here is a link to the airport website which might help you. I took the bus from the airport a couple of years ago. It is really inexpensive and, if I remember correctly, drops you at the train station where you can get a taxi or walk to your hotel. The website also states that a taxi from the airport to central Florence is about 15/16 Euri.

We took a taxi from airport last month for 15 euro and it was great loading baggage only once and then getting deposited pretty much at the doorstep of our rented apartment in Piazza Republica. Getting a taxi back to hotel was just as convenient and took very little time.

Unless your hotel is next to the termini take a taxi
