Florence Accomodations

Any suggestions on whether to stay at the Peterson Bed and Breakfast or Hotel Casci? Neither of us are too picky but would like something pleasent.

Thanks!

don't know peterson, but casci is very pleasant, and also very clean and quiet. The family that run it is delightful.

Hi

We stayed at the &B Peterson for 11 nights and were quite pleased.

Staying at the Casci will save you about 15min walking to the Duomo.

Staying at the B&B Peterson will save you about 80E per night.

If you are interested in staying in an apartment/flat, try florenceflat.com. We stayed there for a week during our honeymoon last June and could not have been happier with the accommodations (700 Euro for the week in 2003). The apartment is in the Oltrarno section of the city, but it is only about a block from the Arno and a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Andrea, the owner of the aparment, was extremely helpful and made reservations at the museums and for dinner for us. The apartment was very clean and the pictures on the website are accurate.

Good luck and have a great time!!
