Flight from Detroit to CDG

I am trying to save some time searching all over the web for prices. Does anyone know of a decent fair from Detroit to Paris in late July? Under 700$ would be great. Thanks for your help in advance!!!

I find this very interesting (or curious). Orbitz shows Northwest flights to and from Paris from Detroit for $882 (7/24 dep, 8/7 ret). However, if you take those very same flights on a RT from Newark to Paris (via Detroit), the price is $776. How do we explain that?

I found a great fare if you're willing to fly out of Toledo via Atlanta to CDG on Delta and Air France
check the incomparable website http://beta.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/prego

$458 incl. taxes July 26 (DL4578/AF307) return Aug. 10(AF316/DL4578)
You will probably need to visit a travel agent to get this fare. Good Luck.

Easy LVSue. The trip from Newark is in competition with direct flights from other carriers.

Keith

I just booked a Northwest flight from Detroit to CDG (nonstop flight) for end of May for $340 total roundtrip.

I know many people disagree but I've never been disappointed in waiting just 3-4 weeks prior to my planned departure to book the airfare. July might be a different story.

If you want to go nonstop, you're at the mercy of northwest. But go to websites for BA and Lufthansa, you could also try flying out of Windsor through Toronto (airport codes YQG and YYZ respectively) which can have cheaper fares to Europe.
