Unbelievable. The umpteenth time - - happens amazingly often - - that just when you think you are a savvy traveler
(or a savvy user of internet travel tools), someone comes along and shows you something like this Yahoo thing for scatter-shot checking airfares from a given city.
Too bad it isn't possible to custimize the list. But still, I can think of situations where this might prove immensely useful.

Go to http://www.itasoftware.com.
Start a search with your home airport (and you can also choose to look for other airports within 50-500 miles away).
Then choose a destination airport, and you can choose to search all other airports up to 500 miles away. So for example, if you enter CDG (Paris), you will get fares for numerous other European cities also.
