casa de memoria is fabulous - a small and intimate venue where you can almost touch the dancer! Not been anywhere else but would thoroughly recommend that in Seville. Seville is much bigger than Granada which may influence.

Several years ago, we went to a concert in Granada to see Sara Beras, an 18 year old dancer who is a sensational flamenco dancer. I believe she travels all over the country. It is a stylized form combining flamenco and balet. You would be lucky to catch one of her concerts. On the other side of the coin, we went to a small bar "Bar El Eshavira" in Granada and saw an authetico flaminco group...no costumes or touristic and saw an equally entertaining flamenco performance. I would ask for recommendations to places that have flamenco in bars, as opposed to a tourist "tabelo."
