Fjord tours from Bergen

Hey everybody.
I'm thinking about spending a few days in Norway in late August.
If I can make it work out, I'll start in Oslo, then take Bergen railway to Bergen.
Now I am wondering if doing the usual "Norway in a Nutshell" tour from Bergen is the right thing because I will have travelled on some part of the railway trip already.
In addition, travel reports I have found say that the Flam railway is extremely crowded in summer.

Therefore I am wondering if anyone has taken another fjord excursion from Bergen (not the Norway in a Nutshell),
or has done anything like that independentely (as most fjords seem to have regular boat services anyway)?

Saves you a day if you do NiN between Oslo and Bergen. You can send luggage by PorterService if you don't want to carry.
Alternatives from Bergen are Hardangerfjord in a Nutshell or Baroniet Rosendal - https://www.baroniet.no/en/fjordcruise-to-rosendal/
