"Five Takes Europe" on Travel Channel
Just a heads up for everyone - while I was watching the new Tony Bourdain show on the travel channel, an ad came up for a new show called "Five Takes Europe".
Not quite sure about all the details, but the first show will be this saturday on Barcelona, and next saturday's will be on Paris.

Kudos to the Travel Channel credit for coming up with shows that actually address the issue of travel ! Okay, perhaps Tony Bourdain was a bit full of himself, but at least it's not a Las Vegas promo or a top ten beaches show or the 'best bathrooms around the world' show.
And this upcoming show (Sat @ 10 pm, eastern time) sounds like an approach similar to Globetrekker (a Lonely Planet show on PBS) .... description uses the 'R' word (reality show, eek!)... nevertheless, it's a show about travel ON the Travel Channel - <font color="green">WHEE ! <font color="green"> <i> what a novel concept for them !!! - <b> <font color="blue">

I saw the first episode and will nto be watching the others. They happened to have picked the most obnoxious kids to star...especially the rock DJ that was so full of himself (and for no good reason). Oh well.
