I think she is going to find that the taxes and flight are per person. I have been fooled so many times by a "cheap" fare.
BUT someone else put her on this Toronto possibility with the enticement of a cheap fare--and maybe not the final fare.
Hope we hear one way or the other.

If it is Air Transat then the cost is about $506 US per person. That includes a 50 pound piece of checked luggage. Extra charges are for seat reservation and priority check in.
It is an Airbus 330.

Hello all-Thanks so much for all of your help, I thought I would bring you up to date. We have booked our plane tickets for 5: Toronto to London; Rome to Toronto for $3235.05. This includes seat assignments, taxes and we one piece of luggage plus carry on per person!! That's $647.00 per person!
We have 2 rooms at Premier Inn- St Pancras for 4 nights.
I have purchased our Eurostar tickets-thanks for the heads up on doing that now!
My dad decided not to come, so we are not going to Heidelberg.
I am still in the process of finding accommodations in Paris and a flight to Rome as well as accommodations in Rome. We will have 4 nights in each city.
I just wanted to thank you all again for your thoughts, suggestions and comments.

That is incredibly cheap airfare, especially for summer. Wish we could find something similar sometime! It reminds me of the old days 8 or 10 years ago when trans-Atlantic fares could be found in this price range.
