If you are in Evesham, have a think about going into Wales for one of your days.
Nobody talks about Wales much on this forum but its one of my favourite places in Britain.
Your may already have plenty of advice for the region, but if you need help, give us a shout.

OK - since Evesham is a must - I'd go straight there. You could be in Evesham by mid-afternoon. You honestly won't have more than about 4 hours actual walking around time IN London.
I'd take the train from LHR > Paddington, and a train from Paddington to Evesham. Then, if you still want to see a bit of London you can always do it at the end of your weekend - though you'll probably enjoy the Cotswolds/Evesham so much that you might drop that idea.

If you only have the weekend why not stay in London and get husband to join you?
Pack almost all you need in hubby's bag - you just need credit cards, good walking shoes and your camera - not even carry on.
Book a hotel for the night.
You have a few options to get into central London - I'd pick on which hotel I booked.
Get to the hotel and freshen up, graba map and head for the Ho Ho bus. Keep the map on your knee on the bus, if you see anything that particularly intersets you mark it on the map, or get off and explore.
Go to the half price ticket booth and pick tickets for a show - either in the evening or possibly a matinee.
Phone husband and tell him where to meet you with your overnight bag that HE has brought, meet husband, see a show, have dinner and back to the hotel. You mention weekend but don't say if it is Friday - Monday or what exactly.
Anyway in the morning you then have time to either explore a little more, hit Oxford St or go back with hubby, or stay another day or two n London.
