layover at Heathrow in London

you can go into London for about 5-6 hours or you can go to Windsor which is about 7 miles from LHR.
If you go in to London you'll get there around 9:30 or 10:00 and will need to leave town by about 3:00 or 3:30.If you do decide to got to LOndon I would take the tube, get off at Hammersmith station, walk across the platform and jump on the next District line train. Then get off at Westminster. Westminster station is right on the river across from the Eye, in front of Big Ben, and a block from Westminster Abbey.

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would continue this one. I will be arriving on a Saturday at Heathrow at 0650 from the US and departing and 1625 for Cairo. What are some suggestions for this amount of time? Are their any tour companies that pick up at the airport (not private)?
