[QUOTE=vegzet;17304855]Going to Paris for a faux-Japanese experience seems a contradiction to this francophile.
Obviously, we'll be eating and enjoying French. But over 8 days, we'll definitely pick up a manju or anpan to have with our tea. Maybe even an onigiri for lunch. And I enjoy Chinatown in London, and pizza outside of Italy. I'm not that much of a food snob.

Only eat "French" in Paris? Nonsense. Paris is a capital city of a country with former colonies. Besides French, there are Vietnamese and other Indochinese cuisines, North African too, plus the cuisines of various immigrants. But I have never had decent pizza in Paris. And French isn't just what us USers think of as French, since France has many regional cuisines. Look for the trip reports from those of us who have visited there.
Of course, the is the B/C A/C D/C problem with restaurant reviews: Before Covid, After Covid and During Covid, all of which can render a restaurant unlike reviews from different times.
