I am going to Florence and Rome for several days in November. Can you tell me what you purchased and where you purchased the leather bags?

Hi , the best place to buy leather bags is at the markets ( where the pig is) you rub his nose for good luck, right next door to H&M make sure your buy the bags from an Italian seller who is form Firenze, as I have delt with this stall for many years as I used to go every year till Covid hit. Good luck we are not allowed to travel yet from Australia 🌻

Hi benitakaren, I tried to look up the name of one of the stores I was in, and of course couldn't find the business card. However, I can tell you that I was staying at the Hotel Bertchelli, which is located about a 8 minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio, at this address, on this street: Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, 14, 50123. It's the road that runs along the Arno, on the side of the Ponte Vecchio with many of the main sites, such as the Duomo.

If you go to the Ponte Vecchio and then turn along that avenue with the Arno on your left, there are numerous gorgeous leather stores, all along the river, including Davide Cerasi Leather and many more. Tons of handbags, wallets, and leather jackets available. Enjoy your shopping

I should have added one more thing here, for getting your test to return to the US - if you google where in Rome to get a rapid (antigen) test, maps come up showing pharmacies that are offering the test. I asked the front desk at my hotel to call a few and see if I needed an appointment, but I did not. Many pharmacies are taking walk ins. It was a little wait, because there was a line of about 8 people, the results were emailed to me that afternoon. Very simple.
