Ferry from Venice to Rovinj

I'm planning our trip to Croatia and looking at Ferry's from Venice to Rovinj.
Passengers only no car.

We are traveling 4 May, 2019 and as of now the only option is Veneza Lines 5 hours and 15 minutes, 17:15-22:30

I hope I'm just looking too early and more routes will become avaiblable.

Thanks in advance, Mark

Most Istria bound catamarans leave Venice in late afternoon. And there will not be many in early May.
But why not take a bus from Trieste: dp 8.45, 14.00, 16.15 and 17.45 (2-3 hrs journey)?

I've been using this site to plan - https://ssl.directferries.com/ferry/...alse&rfidr=552

In early May I see ferries at least every other day from Venice to Rovinj and more to Porec (which is less than an hour from Rovinj). They seem to all depart around 5pm which is the same as in the summer (July) only in high season they are daily. But still only one per day that I can find.

Thanks everyone. The train / bus looks like a good plan.

Thanks, Mark

We ended up using a car service, GoOpti, that worked well for us driving from Venice to Croatia. It brought us to a small airport (I can't remember the name) where we had a rental car reserved. I think they could likely drive you to Rovinj. Just another idea.

Goopti.com is a good suggestion. It can take as long as the bus does, but you can choose the time you want to leave. They will pick you up at Piazzale Roma and drop you off at the bus station in Rovinj. Check it out.
