Any info on Fawlty Towers Hotel in Roma. Reviews talk about bed bugs, etc. Staying 3 nights starting 6/29/07. Reviews I read are from 2005-2006. This is hotel STATravel recommended.

Is this a real hotel or is someone taking the mickey on the reviews? Not everyone knows about the classic UK comedy series "Fawlty Towers" which is now about 20 years old with John Cleese of Monty Python fame as the incompetent inn-keeper who deals with his guests according to their status by either licking their boots or spitting poison.

Yes, Sampaguita - we know about John Cleese and Fawlty Towers. However what ignashme is asking about is a hostel in Rome actually named "Fawlty Towers Rome"

Ignashme: I suggest you look on ThrornTree and/or Tripadvisor.

There are lots of other Rome hostels with better reviews. Are you stuck with Fawlty Towers?

I am not familar with the Fawlty Towers Hotel in Rome but I am confused ignashme. You state that you are staying there starting 6/29/07 and yet you posted 6/30/2007.
