And while I'm at it, I have a small - and mostly non-UK collection at http://digbig.com/4nmmb

A notice behind the bar of a pub in Dumfries, Scotland: "Please do not ask for credit, as a punch on the nose often offends"

It was close to 20 years ago, but I still remember getting a huge kick out of sign warning of a low ceiling which read MIND YOUR HEAD

... Then again, back in those crazy hippie days of our youth we also got a big kick out of road signs here in the US that read:
PARK DISABLED
CARS ON GRASS

A sign stating that "Bill Stickers Will Be Prosecuted" upon which some wag had written "Bill Stickers is Innocent",

At St. Edmunds School in Oxford:

Dead
Slow
Children
Crossing

All I can picture are zzombie children walking across the road.

Also in Oxford:
The Dragon Pre-preparatory School. It's for the wee dragons.

At Paperchase in London at a display of handmade cards: Hand Jobs.

And as someone mentioned before, the Changed Priorities Ahead... "I used to want to be an astronaut, now I want to be Barbie!"

"At Paperchase in London at a display of handmade cards: Hand Jobs."

There's a garage in Manchester which has a large sign advertising its car wash facilities, in particular the five-quid hand jobs.

Just seen something for this thread in Montreal:

http://digbig.com/4ntec

Also, there's a pet store here - the photo I took from the bus didn't come out, but I might have time to go and find it and try again. It's called Twit Palace.

there is a sign in many london parks saying "do not feed the pigeons". there is a picture of a hand outstretched towards a pigeon. many of the signs have been "altered" to read "do not FEEL the pigeons"

british gas trucks saying "smell gas? call 0800XXXX" have been altered to "smell ass?...."

iceland trucks...their slogan..."moms are heroes" altered to "moms are hoes".
