For my practical side...my tea from Mariage Freres..I drink it every day..

For my purely Paris side, a black suede fringed purse with a green jade medallion from Shanghai Tang...I think of Paris every time I look at it..

When I took my little daughter to Paris and we went down to the Seine where all the artists draw sketches of people. I looked at everyone's work and chose the best artist to draw my daughter. IT is one of my prized possessions and cost about $40 USD.

Not souvenirs. My favorite purchases have been the cheeses and wines we've eaten on Paris picnics.

Besides my Hermé's scarf, an unpublished book of limited 500 copies of Sempé's cartoons on animals(If you read the Newyorker, you've seen some on the cover's.Posters's given to me one at the exhibition of Sempé's work. And a poster that I was given at the Petit Bofinger that I admired.

A handmade yellow polka-dot umbrella from a gorgeous and very expensive umbrella shop along the boulevard St. Germain. Every time it rains and I stand beneath my shelter, I pretend I'm actually walking in Paris.
