Favorite Paris Boutique Hotel

We are going to Paris next June with family of 4 (children will be 17 & 12)----there are so many to choose from, so this is what I am thinking--Location right Bank , has to be nice--do not want to stay at the Ritz or George V, but would like upscale quaint and we have never traveled to Europe and this will be our first stop so HELP Please!! P.S. We are o.k. with 2 rooms if they are connecting. Thanks

I don't think you will find " upscale , quaint on the right bank" ...but maybe I'm wrong! I just don't find Right bank "quaint!

The Lancaster is supposed to be very lovely you might check that one out. I have had friends stay there. Although I am not sure if the rooms are connecting. It is a smaller luxury property. Here is their web address http://www.hotel-lancaster.fr
Good luck with your planning you are smart to start early.

I am curious as to why you want the right bank; I think that you and your children would find that the left bank has much more charm, fun shops, and little places to poke around in.

The Marais, on the right bank, would have similar appeal as the left bank, but other than that, I can't think you'd get what you want on that side of the Seine. Just my opinion.

Forgot to mention that the Relais Christine (left bank, though) would be a charming, upscale boutique hotel.

Since you have never traveled to Europe, a question: Why do you want to be on the Right Bank?
