favorite food/bed and breakfasts

Will be doing Austria with my two teenage daughters in April. Thought about Vienna,Gratz,Klaggenfurt, Salsburg area, and western Austria. With possibly a side trip to Czech Republic? Have two weeks with a car rental out of Munich.
Any suggestions? Would like to stay in smaller towns as much as possible.

Hi,

Don't miss Salzburg, also Halstadt and the Lake District i.e., Veldon.

Prague's wonderful. If you start in Vienna, then to Salzburg, then to Halstadt, then to Lakes on the way to Prague.

Good luck

There are a number of interesting looking places in or near Landshut (ENE of Munich) cited at www.landshut.de - - I am staying at Gasthof zur Linde (in Hohenpolding) next month.

And at the risk of sounding like a nag - - could an effort be made to use GEOGRAPHICALLY descriptive message headers here, please?

Best wishes,

Rex

Hi Dan,

Definitely go to Prague. It's an enchanting place, and so close to Vienna. My daughter spent 4 months living in Vienna. I will try to get some info for you.

Denise

Denise
