Fast way: Normandy to London
We will be staying in Bayeux on a Tuesday night in Normandy then have plans and hotel arraignments in London on Wednesday.
What is the fastest way to get to London from Normandy. I don't want to be getting to Central London late afternoon or night. Is this avoidable? The ferries are 4-5 hours..plus trains to and from.
Should we just train it back to Paris and fly or Eurostar it..I've even looked at trains to Brittany to some of the Ryanair cities and flying to Stansted.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

The quickest would be to book a cabin on Brittany Ferries' overnight service from Caen/Ouistreham, leaving at midnight and arriving in Portsmouth at 0700.

There are faster ferries from Cherbourg to Portsmouth. About 3 hours.

Unless there is some reason you need to spend the night in Bayeux, GeoffHamer's suggestion of taking the Caen-Portsmouth ferry overnight makes the most sense to me. From Portsmouth you can take either a train (www.nationalrail.co.uk) or a coach (www.nationalexpress.com) directly to London.
