Looking for advice on accommodation in central Holland for 4 adults and 2 teens. Is it possible to rent a house for 7 nights? I tried the parks but the dates don't match.

Have you tried vrbo.com (Vacation Rent by Owner)? They seem to have properties in most European countries but I've only used them for Spain.

I have used Homelidays.com also and that has been great for European rentals.

www.slowtrav.com is also a great place to start for reviews and tips on vacatio rentals. They have extensive user posted info about Italy - not sure about Holland tho.

the properties are not suitable, they are mostly in Amsterdam or too small and slwtrav has no Holand rentals

Ya know - Even though you received some answers -- I would REALLY re-post w/ a better title. You have a very specific question and "Family trip" could be asking anything about anywhere in Europe.

I'd try something like "Suggestions for rental house or cottage in central Holland?"
