Family Lodging in London

Can anyone recommend a family hotel or bed and breakfast in London? We are a family of 4 and would like 2 rooms or a quad with 2 bedrooms. The area does not really matter as long as access to the tube is nearby. Also would like to keep total cost below $250 per night w/ breakfast. Thanks

I have posted many times on the Victoria Inn, off Belgave Road. It appeared to be a favorite of families traveling in London when we stayed there. It was $90/double, breakfast included. Very clean, very quiet, great service (Anastasia and Tatiana at the service desk were very helpful and cordial). The neighborhood has a residential feel to it), close walk to Victoria Station, even closer is Pimlico Metro Station, a mile from Buckingham Palace. Also encourage you to look up already posted info and try to get a better feel for the neighborhood you and your kids would enjoy. Belgrave Road may be too sedated for them, but it does fill your requirements. Have you consider an apartment stay? There are nice apartments near the Pimlico area.

We just booked inter-connected rooms (also for family of 4) at the Cranley Gardens hotel in So. Kensington. It seems to be very well-received here and on tripadvisor. I also found a quad room at the Abcone hotel also in So. Kensington.

My family of four recently stayed at The James and Cartref House, a small hotel located on Ebury Street on the edge of Beglravia near Victoria Station (and coach station) and Buckingham Palace. The quad room was around L135 and included a wonderful English breakfast. The proprietors were also very delightful. Go to www.jamesandcartref.co.uk for more information.

My apologies for my typographical error misspelling "Belgravia."

My family of 4 stayed at the Comfort Inn Hyde Park in a three bedroom apartment that we rented for 4 nights. We had reserved a two bedroom for at 158 pounds per night but received the 3 bedroom. We had one bath, a kitchen with washer/dryer and a living room. This was on a very quiet street and our only complaint was that we could hear the people above us walking around at odd hours. Check out their website (don't have it handy). It did include a minimal continental breakfast but we had snacks in our room two.
