Family friendly Hotel

Looking for a nice clean hotel to spend a couple of nights in Paris. We are staying 2hrs outside of Paris and thought we should stay overnight. Would like a large room to sleep 4 or 5. Thanks for the help

Here's some info for you. Of course, some of the prices might be out of date but they'll give you a range to work with.

Here's a short list of definites:
CASTEX HOTEL - 4th/Marais - 91E (about $90)
GRAND HOTEL JEANNE D'ARC - 4th/Marais - $120
HOTEL DES CROISES - 9th - apt. w/ 2bdrms - quoted in 1999 @ 550FF (about $80)

Here's a list of FAMILY ROOMS (hopefully they mean Quads):
4th Arrondissement
HOTEL DE NICE - 4th/Marais (42 bis r de Rivoli)
HOTEL SAINT-MERRY - 4th (78 r de la Verrierie)
GRAND HOTEL JEANNE D'ARC - 4th/Marais – (3 r de Jarente) (mentions 12 family rooms so you’re likely to get adjoining rooms)
HOTEL DE LUTECE - 4th (59 r Saint-Louis-en-l’Ile)
5th Arrondissement
HOTEL DEGRES DE NOTRE DAME - 5th (10 r des Grands Degrees)
HOTEL DES GRANDES ECOLES - 5th (75 r Cardinal Lemoine)
LE JARDIN DES PLANTES - 5th (5 r Linne)
HOTEL CLUNY SORBONNE - 5th (8 r Victor Cousin)
6th Arrondissement
HOTEL SAINT-PAUL - 6th/St. Germain de Pres (43 r Monsieur Le Prince)
HOTEL DE L'ODEON - 6th (13 r Saint-Sulpice)
REGENT'S HOTEL - 6th (44 r Madame)
HOTEL DU DANUBE - 6th (58 r Jacob)
HOTEL SAINT-ANDRE-DES-ARTS - 6th (66 r Saint-Andre-des-Arts)
9th Arrondissement
HOTEL DE BEAUHARNAIS - 9th (51 r de la Victoire)
17th Arrondissement
HOTEL ETOILE PARK - 17th (10 ave Mac-Mahon)
18th Arrondissement
HOTEL ERMITAGE - 18th (24 r Lamarck)

Of course, most of these you'll need to book a few months in advance. Other than that, you might try a Hostel, such as the Young & Happy Youth Hostel on Rue Mouffetard in the 5th (http://www.youngandhappy.fr/english/sum.htm) Le Village Hostel in Montmartre (http://www.villagehostel.fr/). With so many people in your party, you're likely to get a dorm room to yourself!

Enjoy Paris!! : )

Take Hotel Castex off the cheap list. They are closed this winter and will re-open in the spring as a 3-star hotel.

Voila! At long last I've created a list of Quadruple Hotel Rooms with Air Conditioning!! Just e-mail me & I'll be happy to send the Excel spreadsheet to you. I'd post here but there are too many listings (26). There are listings for only the following arrondissements:
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th

ciao!
