Hey you guys... there is actually no such thing as "Swiss Cheese" in Switzerland. All the cheese have proper names.

If you're from the US and want to get there fast, use American Express.

....hey, Faina, that was ME not Patrick that resurrected that important info about visas. Or did I overlook another thread posted by Patrick?

Intrepid, please take a look at the "visa required," thread.

Oh, P_M, so it was YOU? Where do you live

Rufus: now I need to "Discover" something? What will I be looking for?

Suze, I know, it's "All-Pine". Does it taste and smell the way it sound? Or is it Al-Pine like Al-Qaeda?

Oh, sure I am kidding about going to Texas! I would never mess with Texas

I am not kidding about living in San Francisco though. Come to visit! Just don't yodel here, not even in your sleep!

Faina
You can learn to yodel - and you should try.

There'll probably be lessons on the flight over, if you fly with a reputable airline.

Have a grrrreat Swiss time!

Faina, I would love to visit SF again. It's such a great city, even if I'm not allowed to yodel. And I really hope you will visit Austin someday.

Austin will have to wait. Only 2 days till Switzerland. Going through pre-travel anxiety now. Any last-moment hints?

No hints, as you'll do fine. Switzerland is wonderful to visit and it will be easy for you to communicate.

Have a lovely time and tell us all about it upon your return.

In Germany I got chocolate rats in Hamlin and also rat pretzels. Both were delicious. In Switzerland you can get lots of goodies to bring home. Not just the eating kind.

"In Switzerland you can get lots of goodies. Not just the eating kind." - and I thought it's only in Paris you have to look down what you're stepping into. ((&amp)
