For those of you who follow football, the FA Cup Final is at Wembley Stadium tomorrow, kick off 5:30pm. It's between Crystal Palace and Manchester United.

Does the TV coverage get across Europe and the Atlantic? I'd guess that it does.

We get BBC so we could watch it if we were home. Dutch TV used to cover it, but I don't know if they still do.

DH is from Oldham so as well as 'Latics he of course supports Man U. He will have to follow the game online tomorrow though.

Far more interested in good soccer from two teams at the top of their country's top flight playing for Europe's largest soccer prize on May 28 than watching a bottom-third premier league/championship yo-yo side fight it out with a dynasty in a death spiral in a match with no larger implications than winning a cup that has lost much luster.

Its never a guarantee that if you are from near Manchester that you will support United. There are as many City fans as United fans in Bury where I live. And as a Burnley fan it was with great delight that I witnessed Leicester's triumph over the super spenders (Burnley's turn next year).

Well I went to this game today, all a bit dull, save the last bit.....

It was on east coast of Australia at 2.15 am - lots I know watched it. I was hoping Crystal palace would win as Mile is both its captain and captain of Australia.
EPL is closely followed here - lots have an EPL team .

I must say the CP fans were brilliant yesterday, I had to keep checking the Man U fans were actually still alive!!

And the stories are already floating around that United are planning to ditch the manager and bring in Mourinho. Where the stories come from is not entirely clear to me....

Patrick, the stories have been around for months, mostly being picked up from European Press articles. The sense of it is that it is coming from the Mourinho camp somewhere along the line. Having said that, United have not handled the situation well, as the fans in the UK have been unhappy with Van Gaal's style of play for sometime. An announcement should have been made made along the Pelegrini-Man City template if he is going--if he isn't then they should have said so. With such a lack of communication from the club, Van Gaal's been twisting in the wind.

The difference this time is that the stories are much stronger, even being quoted by the BBC last night and my sources at Old Trafford have said for some time now that Van Gaal was a dead man walking. I understand that Van Gaal has known for a month or more (maybe a lot more) that he would be out after the Cup Final, regardless of the result.

FYI, the atmosphere at Wembley yesterday was terrific from both sides fans.

Well I beg to differ with you Rubicund, I thought the Man U fans were noticeable in how quiet they were until they scored the equaliser. cp fans were way more upbeat and in to the occasion. Even the die hard MU fan I was with thought the MU fans woeful at times in their support even Giggsy came out to the touch line and was encouraging them to make some noise!
That said they got the result they wanted in the end..

DH followed it on Twitter as best he could. Internet access is not great here in the wilds.
He was happy(ish). I hoped CP would win.

I honestly don't think van Gaal will be too worried about getting the heave-ho. I do think Mourinho is a mistake.
