extra day to spare - Seville or Granada?
Per some of my recent posts, a friend and I are currently putting together our itinerary for Spain, Portugal and France for spring/summer 2023.
We currently have 2 days allocated for Seville and 2 days allocated for Granada and ideally would like to do a day trip to Cordoba while in Seville if time permits.
We don't have copious amounts of time at our disposal due to work but we are able to possibly allocate one more day and am thinking to use it toward either Seville or Granada.
Given we'd like to see Cordoba, I think it makes more sense to allocate the extra day to Seville rather than Granada but thought I'd gauge whether or not others would suggest using the time in Granada instead?

I am the rare one who preferred Granada, loved the Alhambra and had great food in both places. It is also cooler in Summer. However, given that most people prefer Seville and an extra day would allow you to see Cordoba, then, add that day to Seville.

I agree with Seville.
We loved it there. We'd thought of doing day-trips, but found we enjoyed just exploring Seville, so we stayed there all 5 days. So much to see and do there. Fabulous food. Friendly people.

I’m with the Seville crowd. What a beautiful city! I could live there. And we also found the food there wonderful. And, like macdogmom, we also enjoyed the Alcazar even more than the Alhambra (which we did enjoy!). My heart is with Seville.
