Evora - how many nights?

We are driving from the Algarve to Cascais with a stop at Evora. Is 1 night enough? Is there very much to see there? Please advise? Thanks.

This must be your 7th or 8th post with queries, all of which can easily be dealt with by buying an $18 guidebook, several of which I suggested to you in a private and public post.

If you can afford to travel to PT and stay in thr Pousadas, surely you can afford to buy a book which will answer all your questions.

I mean, sheez... Evora is a UNESCO World Heritage site! You ask: "Is there very much to see there? ". Duh....

Get a clue! Yeah, for the clueless, 1 night at the over-priced Pousada in Evora is probabably sufficient... you will need a full day just to make your way up the alleys by car and find a parking space. Hopefully in your research (or what passes for it) you will think ahead and buy a map of Portugal, and maybe even a rough map of Evora. I doubt you will ever manage the one way streets otherwise.

Evora is a magnificent town, with a lot to see. I'd stay two days...

Hello. In my opinion, one day is enough to see the main locations, but it's not enough to "taste it" properly.
I think a minimum of 3 days is already enough not only to visit Evora, but also some near locations, and to really "taste" Alentejo.

Some people have their own way of giving advice yet it may not look so polite... the advice was there anyway.

If you have asked it you are ready to read it and to filter it as needed.

Evora is great (1 or 2 days), but Also Monsaraz, Arraiolos, Estremoz, Vila Vicosa... depends on what you want to see and to do and for how long you can afford it.

www.bikeiberia.com
>Experience the best of Portugal and Spain by Bike.<
