Ok, we left Florence on Monday and headed to Naples. I had read so many bad things about Naples and reasons not to stay IN Naples. I am glad we didn't listen. We used it primarily as a base to visit the Amlalfi coast and Pompeii and it worked very well for that. We head to Rome tomorrow. Time to start a trip report thread instead I'd using this one. oh, Naples. fascinated to learn that you stayed there, it's something we've been toying with but can't commit to it yet.
