Eurostar tickets online

Hi.

About a week ago I ordered Eurostar tickets online (Eurostar.co.uk). When I clicked on "submit", the page thanked me and said my order had been submitted. The page offered no confirmation number nor was a confirmation sent to my email address. I sent them an inquiry a couple of days ago but no response yet.

Was my order lost in cyberspace? Has anyone had a similar experience? Our travel date is Sept. 7th but if this is too far in advance, one would think they would have told me so.

(My credit card hasn't been charged yet either.)

Thanks.

I'm interested in buying online from the U.S. for the end of August. Need to buy soon in order to get the 60 day rate so would like to know what is going on with Pilchard's order!
Thanks.

I'm probably just a whimp but the on-line site confused me so I called RailEurope at 800/782-2424, talked to a live person, who spoke English, helped me with our connections and we received the tickets in a few days. By the way, if you're seniors, the tickets are discounted... 1st class senior price was the same price as 2nd class regular price (their was no senior discount for 2nd class) so it was a no-brainer!

Thanks for the Rail-Europe 800 phone number, Sandy. But I know that they do have quite a service charge. I'm still trying to book on eurostar.com/ but after I pick our times of departure the site doesn't respond. It's getting close to our 60 days. Has anyone had any luck recently with this site?

daph,

The number to call for tickets is:
011-44-870-518-6186. I placed my order on Friday, the 27th and they arrived in Monday's mail from G.B. Remarkable! I was charged only three pounds service fee.

Note that RailEurope now has apparently replaced the 60-day advance ticket with a Mon-Thur round-trip without any advance purchase requirement for $90 round trip, but must buy before July 28. Call Budget Europe for the best help with eurostar tickets; their staff is much more knowledgeable than Rail europe 800-441-9413.
