Eurostar- London to Paris - Passport Needed?
We are taking the Eurostar from London to Paris. We will be staying in France for a week and then return to London. When we arrive in Paris will they check/stamp our passports?
I'd love to get a French stamp, but also want to know if we need to do anything when we arrive in from another country for timing reasons. Thanks.

I just took a look at my passport so I could at least tell you what my experience has been for the past two London/Paris/London Eurostar trips.
In London my passport received a stamp that reads "LFT Londres ". The stamp has an F circled by stars in the left top corner and there is a small drawing of an old fashioned train engine in the upper right corner. When I arrived in Paris the passport wasn't stamped. When I left Paris the passport was stamped with the same design as the stamp it received in London, but this time the stamp reads "LFT Paris Nord"

Hi Kimberley
If you are an EU Passport holder you need to specially request that they stamp your passport. I hold an Irish passport and I requested mine to be stamped and it was stamped as described above by starspinners.
Personally I always request a stamp when I leave the country because you never know if you have to prove where you have been or prove that you were not in the country at the time.
