Euros come in what denominations?
I'll be going to Italy the end of this week - want to get some Euros in advance, just for little things like snacks, train tickets etc.
Do Euros come in certain denominations, like 1, 5, 10, 20, 100 Euros etc.?
Thanks

The European Central Bank's official Euro website lists the denominations and has handy pictures of the bills and coins, including the reverse sides of the coins, which vary depending upon which country minted them:

Try to get euros in notes of 50 or less. Many merchants won't take or are very reluctant to take 100, 200 or 500 euro notes. Large supermarkets, however, generally will accept the high end notes without a hassle.
