Thanks. I don't know the answer to this one. Was thinking "Madeleine," but I can't get the rest to fit, and I've not had the time to try to do more research.

The first letter M is right, but that's definitely not it. Wrong country. (You used to try to predict what my clues might be about by jumping to conclusions about my interests. Remember?)

I think the candy is Italian -- I vaguely recall some thread about it here. I know that it wasn't Madeleine, but I was amused that there's actually a Romanesque church in Vezelay by that name that's actually famous. (Obviously there's the one in Paris.)

Clue: Many famous architects have designed a version of this object: 2 words (6, 6).

The second word looks like a word in English, so it's now accepted to refer to this object in English as a (6, 5) (as a bastardized form).

A famous American version of this object is an (5, 5). (The first word is a last name. The 3rd letter of the last name is "m".)

Hint: An exhibition in NYC is currently taking place on one famous American version of this object. It was designed by a husband-and-wife team. (5 letters in the last name, 3rd = "m&quot

Yes.

Eames chair.

What about the other parts? Ok, lounge chair.

What the "original" is called?

You can take the next clue, starrsville.

Oh, geez. I didn't want to get it right. I don't know how to do the next clue.

I'll give it some thought and I'll post later tonight.

J'attends.

Of course, it's nice that starrsville gives a clue. yk has given too many, but I know she is quick.

Okay, here it goes (starrsville - you still owe us one )

This artist (still alive) [6,9] created a series of sculptures. The theme of the sculptures is a certain creature [6 "s" is first letter].

The artist made 6 bronze casts of a particular one, titled [5].

One of the 6 casts can be found at [place: 10,6] in [city: 6].

This artist also won a coveted award [5,4] several years ago at a well-known art show.
